Audit engagement
Full contract approval application audit
A line-by-line reading of the approval pack with a findings memo referenced to pages, annexes, and internal criteria.
Who this audit is for
Procurement leads, legal coordinators, and business sponsors who must put a contract approval application before an internal committee or designated approver. The engagement suits packs that carry mid-to-high commercial value, multi-year terms, or counterparties that trigger heightened review under your own rules.
Result you receive
You receive a dated findings memo that states whether the application is ready to circulate, needs revision, or should be withheld until listed gaps close. Every finding cites the page or annex where the issue appears and the approval criterion it touches.
Scope included
- Completeness check against the submission checklist your organisation uses (or a standard Korean corporate checklist if none is supplied)
- Cross-check of commercial schedule against stated approval thresholds for value, term, and counterparty category
- Verification that referenced annexes, certificates, and prior approvals are present and current as of the review date
- Residual risk note listing questions the committee is likely to raise
- One clarification call with the sponsor (up to 45 minutes)
Scope excluded
- Drafting or renegotiating contract clauses
- Legal opinions on enforceability under Korean law
- Attendance as a voting member of your approval committee
- Continuous monitoring after the sitting date
How the work runs
- Brief — You share the approval route, sitting date, and any hard stops from compliance or finance.
- Document room — Pack transfer via your secure channel or a sealed physical binder at our Yeonsu office.
- Line review — Two readers work the checklist and commercial schedule; findings are reconciled before the memo is issued.
- Delivery — Memo in Korean or English (as requested), with page references and a short sponsor call if booked.
Timeline and location
Typical turnaround is five to ten business days after the complete pack arrives. Rush windows for sitting dates within three business days are quoted separately and depend on reviewer availability. Delivery is remote by default; on-site reading at your office in the Incheon–Seoul corridor is available when the pack cannot leave the premises.
Preparation
Provide the application form as filed, the full annex set, the internal approval policy excerpt that applies to this value band, and the name of the sponsor who will answer clarification questions.
Pricing basis
Quoted by page count, annex volume, and language of the source pack. Starting estimates appear on the rates page. A written estimate is confirmed before work begins.
Next step
Request an audit estimate with the target sitting date and approximate page count. We confirm whether the window fits within two business days.
