Refunds & cancellation

This policy applies to paid application audit engagements commissioned from Wise Platform. It does not cover products, subscriptions, or physical goods — we do not sell those.

Eligibility

Refunds depend on engagement type and how far work has progressed:

• Full refund of amounts paid if we cancel the engagement for our own staffing reasons and no substitute date is agreed.
• Full refund of the booking deposit if you cancel in writing more than 10 business days before the scheduled review start date and no document room handoff has occurred.
• Partial refund if you cancel between 10 and 3 business days before start: deposit less a 20% administrative charge.
• No deposit refund for cancellations within 3 business days of start, or after the pack has been logged into the document room.

Completeness checks and briefing sessions

Completeness checks invoiced on delivery: if you withdraw before we begin reading, no fee is charged. After reading begins, the fixed fee is payable in full. Committee briefing sessions cancelled with less than 2 business days’ notice are non-refundable; earlier cancellations may be rescheduled once at no charge.

Work already started

Once line review has begun, fees for hours or stages completed are non-refundable. Unused prepaid portions for stages not started may be refunded or credited toward a rescheduled audit within 90 days, at your election.

Materials and packs

We return or securely destroy client packs per the engagement letter. We do not refund for third-party courier costs you incurred to deliver binders.

No-shows

If an on-site review day is booked and no sponsor contact is available to grant access within 60 minutes of the agreed start, the day may be billed as delivered. A new date requires a new booking.

Rescheduling

One reschedule is allowed without charge when requested at least 5 business days before start, subject to reviewer availability. Further reschedules may incur a ₩150,000 calendar fee.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@wise-platform.digital with the engagement reference, reason, and refund request. We confirm eligibility within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Exceptions

Force majeure events (including building access closures beyond our control) may justify fee credit even inside the ordinary cancellation windows. Statutory rights under Korean consumer law, where applicable, are not excluded.
