How Wise Platform collects, uses, and retains personal data when you use this site or request an audit estimate.

Data we collect

  • Estimate and contact forms: name, email, selected audit type, preferred sitting date, and message content.
  • Engagement files: documents and personal data contained in approval packs you supply (processed under the engagement letter).
  • Technical data: essential cookies and, if you accept, analytics cookies as described in our cookies policy.

Purposes

We use contact data to respond to estimate requests, schedule audits, issue invoices, and meet record-keeping duties. We use pack contents solely to perform the commissioned review.

Depending on context: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; legitimate interests in operating a professional review desk; and consent where required for non-essential cookies.

Retention

  • Unsuccessful estimate inquiries: up to 24 months.
  • Engagement correspondence and working papers: typically 5 years after engagement close, unless a longer period is required by law or the engagement letter.
  • Cookie identifiers: as listed in the cookies table.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with secure IT hosting providers, accountants, or professional advisers under confidentiality, and with authorities when legally required.

International transfers

If tools or hosting process data outside South Korea, we apply appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses and vendor due diligence, and we will identify significant transfers on request.

Your rights

Subject to Korean law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may withdraw cookie consent without losing access to essential site functions. Contact hello@wise-platform.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC) or other competent authority.

Security

We apply access controls, encrypted transfer where available, and need-to-know limits for pack contents. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please use the channels agreed in your engagement letter for sensitive dossiers.

Updates

We may revise this notice by posting changes here. Material changes to engagement processing will also be communicated to active clients.
