Cookies
What cookies this site uses, why, and how you can accept or reject non-essential cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences and, where allowed, understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Wise Platform uses essential cookies required for basic operation (including remembering your cookie choice) and, only if you accept, analytics cookies to understand aggregate visit patterns. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block browsing, reading field notes, or sending an estimate request.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
wise-platform-cookie-consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year (localStorage) | Wise Platform |
wp_session_essential | Maintains basic site integrity for form error recovery during a visit | Session | Wise Platform |
_wp_analytics | Aggregate page-view counts if analytics accepted | 6 months | Wise Platform (first-party) |
Managing cookies
On first visit, the banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored under the brand-prefixed key wise-platform-cookie-consent. You can clear site data in your browser to see the banner again. You may also block cookies in browser settings; essential functions may then re-prompt for consent preference.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP to Google under Google’s policies. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. See our privacy notice for broader data practices.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies means we will not set _wp_analytics. Essential storage for consent choice may still be used so we do not re-ask on every page load within the same browser profile.
